for South Portland Schools Board of Education

My campaign is not about aspirations for a political career. I have no interest in that. What I am interested in doing is stepping up to the plate to serve the fine people and families of this city. I do not pretend to have all the answers, but I do commit to working toward collaborative and informed solutions.

Collaboration cannot happen if I am doing this alone. I am asking and expecting the people of South Portland to journey with me and help me gain the perspective I need to make informative, responsible and inclusive decisions.

For this to happen, I must first get elected. If you like what you see and want to see me get elected, I would love to have your help with my campaign. Getting enough votes is not going to be easy. I NEED YOUR HELP!

I am not planning to put up a bunch of sidewalk signs and do not have a bunch of cash to throw at a campaign. My campaign will rely on word-of-mouth, personal visits and volunteers like you who believe that I would be a good choice and will do a good job.

All I am asking you to do is  help me reach your neighborhood, your friends, people you know who vote in South Portland and I am looking for a few people to help on election day.

So, if you really think the city needs me on the school board, you can let your actions speak for you and do any or all of the following:

  1. Print out my flyer (click here for 2 page pdf file that you can print out and photo-copy double sided) and walk door-to-door to as many of your neighbors as you can between now and Election Day. The sooner, the better!
  2. Click on “contact me” on the left of this page and send me a message with your contact info telling me you would like to help or have some questions for me first
  3. Send an email to all the South Portland voters that you know and encourage them to check out my webpage ( www.kfassett.com ) to see if they may want to vote for me
  4. Click on “contact me” on the left of this page and let me know that you would like to stand at a polling place and pass out flyers or cards to voters on Election Day
  5. Use my message board to voice your support for me and why
  6. Do you have other ideas? Let me know using the “contact me” link

Thanks for your help, I look forward to serving you!
